I love building teams as much as riding solo. I have a “get it done & do it right” mentality, and bring unparalleled energy to any project.
I currently live in San Antonio with my wife and our three cats: Marmie, Wolfie and Chachi.
Tannie Low is a team player through and through. Going above and beyond is his default state. Every project he was involved in, he gave his full attention and effort. I’ve never encountered someone with such deep understanding and knowledge of creative systems.
He knows how to build, refine and run the engine that is design. A highly systematic and structured designer with one of the biggest and kindest hearts, Tannie is a beautiful human and teammate, he's one of the most supportive, generous and kind leaders I’ve ever met.
The eternal advocate for his team, I personally learned a lot from how he leads his team as well as his effort to serve and collaborate with cross functional counterparts and teams. His unrivaled depth and knowledge of design production and his ability to operationalise and streamline how the work gets done makes him an incredible addition to any team!
Tannie is an absolute joy to work with and is an expert at his craft. He made my day-to-day, as well as my teams day-to-day, more manageable, enjoyable, and seamless. Tannie led the internal creative services team and provided them with the guidance and direction that allowed them to make data-driven decisions for creative campaigns.
During that time, Tannie also helped improve the quality of design that the team was producing, revamped the workflow for how stakeholders engaged with his team, and helped streamline the process for his team to work with both internal and external cross-functional teams with ease.
He made sure all campaigns and projects received the same amount of attention, quality, and refinement to deliver not only a high volume of campaigns but assets that were high quality as well.
Tannie was able to quickly onboard and provide direction/guidance to a high-performing senior-level design team. He is a skilled communicator and worked cross-functionally with Marketing, Growth, Product and engineering teams to deliver design solutions with the user at the core of everything.
Tannie has a deep understanding of project management and was able to accommodate agile, or traditional workflows, ensuring that timelines were in place or backlogs were prioritised. He is skilled at rapid prioritization bringing clarity to complex situations.
What really sets Tannie apart is his positive, entrepreneurial spirit, he is well-liked and respected by his team and always empowers individuals to achieve their best work.
He is simply the best. Tannie is highly skilled at working with internal and external design talent leading teams across complex, large bodies of work with a people-first approach.
He is consistently solution-oriented, and he has a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit that makes him a great partner. I also admire his strong skills in developing systems and optimizing workflows to communicate and deliver projects clearly in a fast-paced environment; and always doing so with a positive attitude.
I would jump to work with Tannie again, and anyone who gets the chance to call him a colleague is lucky!I had the privilege of collaborating with him as he developed an internal team of designers (and external team of freelancers) to support our Brand Marketing—inclusive of social, integrated marketing & more.
Throughout our time together, Tannie was nothing short of an absolute DREAM cross-functional partner! Not only did he bring positive energy to every task we tackled together, but he'd also always go the extra mile to make sure everyone's needs were met, even under tight deadlines.
I truly admire him for his ability to solve problems, create efficiencies, offer creative suggestions, and lead with a strategic vision. I'd consider anyone who gets to work with Tannie incredibly lucky because I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
Tannie is the kind of guy you want on your team. He is an art/design expert, but he is much more than that. Tannie is a strategic creative partner, with a great eye for detail, and a mind focused on the bigger-picture.
He takes the time to understand the challenges of each project given to him, and provides strategic work that delivers on business needs. You can always rely on him to give you what you’ve asked for, but he also gives recommendations on ways to elevate the work to something better.
Within our 4+ years of working together, Tannie effectively managed a team of contracted designers, as well as art directed, designed and collaborated on many award-winning projects.
It’s hard to find talented creatives that cannot only design, but can also mentor and manage a team.
He always had great communication, he effectively prioritized tasks, as well as gave constructive design feedback. I cannot wait for us to work on a project again in the future.
Working under Tannie’s guidance was one of the smoothest transitions I’ve ever experienced in my design career.
He is meticulous, super resourceful, and is always hands-on when it comes to problem solving with the extended team on creating design solutions with long lasting results.
Tannie helped establish creative guidelines & libraries across all creative channels to ensure consistency across the board. He was essentially the glue that tied all creative ecosystems together.
